Kason Vineyards not only provides grapes to numerous winemakers through out Oregon and California, but we also produce small batches of wine ourselves, numbering about 300 to 400 cases per year, using our very best hand-picked fruit. 	2006 Barrel Select - $21 Wine Enthusiast Rating - 89 "Kason’s Barrel Select brings a lot of muscle and weight for the price. The fruit is packed and powerful, a mélange of cherries, plums and spice. 	2006 Black Label - $26 Wine Enthusiast Rating - 89 "Solid fruit brings firm, taut black cherry and cola flavors to the front. This is a muscular, flavorful, somewhat blocky wine that brings Pinot Noir up to burger wine status—and you may take that as a compliment. 	2006 Old Vine Reserve - $29 Wine Enthusiast Rating - 88 "Given 22 months in new French oak, this reserve Pinot Noir still brings the fruit front and center. Blackberries rule here, but there is a strong menthol/mint streak as well, which leaves the palate feeling as if a curiously strong breath mint has recently passed through. Kason seems to have great fruit sources, packaged in a rather rustic style, but offering quite delicious and bold flavors at moder prices. — P.G. (4/1/2009)" - Wine Enthusiast, April 2009.
	2005 Old Vine Reserve - Sold Out Aged for 22 months in 100% new French Oak, this is a rich and velvety Pinot Noir with an aroma of ripe cherries and blackberries with a hint of deep earth. An excellent wine to drink now or to cellar.

Our vineyards are planted with Dijon 76, a Chardonnay clone uniquely suited to cooler climates such as the Willamette Valley. We barrel ferment our Chardonnay in neutral oak, which imparts a full body and luxurious texture to the wine while allowing the delicate character of the grapes to fully express themselves.

2006 Chardonnay - $18 Rich and elegant, with aromas of ripe pear, fig, citrus and green apple. Finishes with a complex range of flavors that offer depth and dimension thru the harmonious after taste.

To best showcase the varietal's crisp fruit flavors, we ferment our Pinot Gris in stainless steel casks. The resulting wine is excellent both on its own or paired with a wide variety of foods.

2006 Pinot Gris - Sold Out A well balanced, medium-bodied white wine, with crisp citrus tones and the flavors of tropical fruits. Featuring a long-lasting and delightful finish.
